Bottom Ash
In 2019, Hulleras del Norte S.A., (commonly known as HUNOSA), launched a tender process for the award of the removal of the ash produced in La Pereda (Coal Thermal Plant owned by HUNOSA).
TGC was awarded the competition, signing a multiannual contract at 3Q2019.
Since then, TGC, as “Waste Dealer”, (accreditation obtained in 1Q2019, has been removing the two types of waste: “Bottom Ashes” and “Fly Ashes”, marketing the “fly ash” to companies in the EU (mainly Spanish, belonging to sectors such as Cement and Concrete), and exporting the “bottom ash” mainly to third countries.
